Sometimes All That You Can Do Is Nothing!

Sometimes all that you can do is nothing at all.

When the pain is too intense…

When you feel that there’s nothing good coming for you…

When people aren’t being kind to you…

When your job isn’t acknowledging your efforts…

When you’re feeling burden after burden…

When you can’t sleep at night…

Sometimes all that you can do is nothing at all.

Because you’re not meant to try to make those situations better. There’s nothing that you can do to change their minds about you. You have to focus on changing your mind about yourself.

That’s the true problem.

You may not see your unwavering value and how until you value yourself others will not value you. That’s the harsh truth.

You can be the “good person” but it doesn’t matter if you don’t have stipulations in place for people to have access to you. If you give access to everyone for the sake of being good, then you will burn out and be misused by others.

They will do it because it makes them feel good and sometimes they can’t help it.

So sometimes all that you can do is nothing at all about what you felt that you should be doing but there’s a lot that you can do that doesn’t make sense to you now but it will later.

My suggestion is to start here:

  • Find out what you like and dislike, only give time and energy to the things that you do like.

  • Give yourself grace.

  • Be kind to yourself.

  • Do nice things for yourself.

  • Forgive yourself and others for the things that have been a burden to you.

  • Live.

  • Live.

  • Live.

  • Don’t allow one more day to pass you by without truly understanding what it means to live, without struggling.
